When the plate heat exchanger is repaired or clearly reassembled (replacement of heat exchanger gaskets, replacement of heat exchanger plates), the plate heat exchanger pressure test is required before use.
The main purpose is to check whether the plate heat exchanger is properly assembled and whether there is any leakage.
The correct water pressure test method is as follows:
First, check whether the clamping size of the plate heat exchanger meets the requirements of the drawing;
Second, fill with water or other fluids and exhaust air;
Third, install the blocking plate;
Fourth, connect the pressure test pump or other manual pressure test device;
Fifth, it is qualified to press and maintain pressure on one side alternately at 1.25 times the design pressure for 30 minutes without leakage. But the main thing is: the pressure should rise slowly and evenly to the required index when suppressing.
