Reading the Old Part: How to Identify Your PHE Gasket
Before you order a spare, answer one question: what gasket is actually in this unit? Learning how to identify plate heat exchanger gasket parts starts with the part in your hand, not a catalogue. The old gasket carries the marks, shape and clip pattern you need, and a few clear photos usually settle it.
Start With the Old Part, Not the Manual
Manuals cover whole families of plates. The gasket on your bench is the exact one that was sealing. Lay it flat, photograph it, and note any number stamped on the plate beside it.
Read the Markings
