Descaling of heat exchanger


1. Dissolution: Acid solution easily reacts with calcium, magnesium, and carbonate scales to form soluble compounds to dissolve heat exchanger scales;


2. Peeling effect: The acid solution can dissolve the oxide on the metal surface and destroy the bound scale. The scale adhering to the oxide surface of the heat exchanger is peeled off. Then fall off;


3. Air enthalpy effect: After the acid solution reacts with the carbonate scale, a large amount of CO2 is generated. During the overflow process, the CO2 gas has a certain enthalpy energy for the scale layer, which is difficult to dissolve or slowly dissolve. Therefore, the scale is heated from the heat exchanger. The surface of the exchanger falls off;


4. Loosening effect: As calcium, magnesium, carbonate and iron oxide are dissolved in the acidic solution, the remaining scale of the heat exchanger becomes loose, and it is easily washed away by the flowing acid solution.
