The corrugated patterns of plate heat exchanger plates mainly include "herringbone" and "horizontal straight" corrugations. The pressure-bearing capacity of "herringbone" corrugated plates is higher than 1.0Mpa, the pressure-bearing capacity of "horizontal straight" corrugated plates is generally 1.0Mpa, and the heat transfer coefficient and fluid resistance of "herringbone" corrugated plates are high. For the "horizontal and straight" corrugated plate, the main consideration is the working pressure of the plate heat exchanger, the pressure drop of the fluid and the heat transfer coefficient. If the working pressure is above 1.6Mpa, the "herringbone" corrugated plate should be selected. If the working pressure is not high and the resistance is reduced, the "horizontal straight" corrugated plate can be used. Due to the limitation of installation space, high heat exchange efficiency is required to reduce the floor space of the plate heat exchanger, and the resistance drop is not limited, so the "herringbone" corrugated plate should be selected.
